Rice in the highlands is in the vegetation stage. Precipitation in the last month has been normal in all cropping areas favoring cycles in the sowing and vegetation stage. Vegetation conditions as of September 20th were normal in most cropping areas except for Rio San Juan where a fourth of the cropland shows poor vegetation activity.
